It went well for me. I wished I'd never have to use it, but I got a respiratory illness on my last day in Rome, with a fever and other symptoms, and this insurance was a great help. Although they didn't reimburse me for the medication because it was complicated, which is why I'm not giving it "excellent," I definitely felt better after the telehealth consultation and the medication, so I do recommend it. You never know when you might need it. Opinion translated. Show original.

Excelente asistencia! Translate this opinion into English.

Excellent support! Facing an unexpected event, like a medical emergency far from home, creates a profound sense of vulnerability. At that precise moment, the most important and valuable thing for me was finding someone on the other end of the phone who could assist me every step of the way. Opinion translated. Show original.

I contacted Civitatis about filing a claim under my travel insurance, not realizing they were the broker, not the insurer. I received a response right away, clarifying the situation and providing the appropriate contact address and proof of purchase. Civitatis could have simply ignored my email, but instead they chose to step up and help me reach the correct department. I appreciate the assistance.

Translate this opinion into English.

Unfortunately, we had a sick child during our stay. We contacted Civitatis' travel insurance, which provided us with assistance by phone and WhatsApp, and managed the entire process of a regional doctor coming to our home. Opinion translated. Show original.

Punctual, I just have one observation: I suggest also including the options that aren't included, such as the return trip by ATV or another excursion in the desert, since this isn't on the website and is mentioned in the tour by van. This helps in budgeting for these amenities. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

This insurance company responded perfectly in Kenya when I had to go to the hospital, and now in the United States, I called them after an accident and they responded and provided a solution immediately, although luckily I didn't end up having to use it. They also help with luggage and canceled flights; I know this from a friend. I recommend them to everyone. Opinion translated. Show original.

Last year my husband got sick in Mexico and we were very happy with the insurance. They were very fast, they didn't cause any problems, they sent a message every day to check on his health. In short, excellent!!! Whenever we travel we take it with them. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Unfortunately, my suitcase was damaged during my trip due to mishandling. I filed a claim through the insurance app, and it was very easy. I could track the status of my claim in the app, and I also received email updates. The compensation payment for lost luggage has now been approved, and I'm waiting for the transfer. I recommend the insurance; my experience was positive when dealing with a luggage issue. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Honestly, this isn't my first time using travel insurance. On our last trip, my niece used it because she got sick upon arrival in Switzerland, and everything went perfectly. She received excellent care, from the online doctor to the pharmacy. That's why, ever since then, we've used this insurance whenever we travel. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

I didn't use it, so I can't give an opinion. The only thing I noticed that would be a problem is the customer service phone number, which is international. I didn't have a local number, so in case of an emergency, it would be a hassle to communicate with the insurance. Opinion translated. Show original.

I had to go to the emergency room in South Korea due to an allergy, and the insurance company told me to pay upfront and that they would reimburse me later. I filed a claim the next day, and a month has passed and I'm still waiting to hear from the insurer (Mana Siniestros and Intermundial Seguros, the policyholder). I've called three times already, and they always tell me my claim has been accepted and that someone will be assigned to my case within a few hours.

I took out insurance and needed it, but I could never get in touch with them. They don't give you any information or a phone number to call if an accident happens. In the end, somehow I found a phone number to call, but it was out of service.

Translate this opinion into English.
